NIRSA is the association for leaders in collegiate recreation. Since its founding in 1950, NIRSA membership has grown to comprise thousands of dedicated professionals, students, and businesses, serving millions of students each year. NIRSA strives to provide the best resources for learning, networking, and advocacy so that campus recreation professionals can inspire healthy people and healthy communities worldwide.

Since 2020, the NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute, presented by Mondo has been planned in partnership with the AB Show. Campus recreation professionals who specialize in facility construction, renovation, operations, and management connect near the end of each year at this dynamic, diverse event and Facilities Institute attendees gain the benefit of learning alongside peers who are working in parks and rec, high school, private facilities and health clubs, military, and other athletic business industries.

 

NIRSA members who register for the Facilities Institute/AB Show will have the ability to earn Continuing Education Credits which can be applied toward the Certified Student Affairs Educator (CSAEd) core certification and the specialty CSAEd-CR certification for campus recreation professionals. Attendees will also have a chance to connect at dedicated roundtable discussions.
